Opening of operations for 2020-21 Winter Tourist Season

We are so happy to announce, that MINISTRY OF TOURISM AND CULTURE is supporting the reopening of winter tourist session for 2020/2021! 

As stated in the letter to the partners, the government and people of The Gambia remain committed to a continued partnership with their partners in the operation of the 2020/21 tourist season and are reassuring support in reaching the goals for this season. 

Due to challenges of the COVID-19 Pandemic, The Gambia has instituted stringent protocols and measures that must be adhered to by the entire leisure and hospitality industry in general. 

In the document below you can find national guidelines. As said in the letter, The Gambia, depending on advice from the Ministry of Health is ready to open and operate the forthcoming season as a very safe destination for the clients. 

Also, newly refurbished Banjul International Airport is opening in October, so new tourist season is ready to start.
